Support, Resources & Faith-Based Advocacy
The songs, stories, and creative resources shared on this website flow entirely from my personal journey of faith, healing, recovery and lived experience as a Christian, a Mother, Unpaid Carer, Domestic Abuse/Violence and Narcissistic Abuse Survivor.
While I have personal knowledge, actual lived experience of these subjects, had my own counselling, ministry and inner healing from my past trauma, attended the Freedom Programme with SafeinSussex and studied and researched Domestic Abuse and Violence and Narcissistic Abuse extensively, I possess basic training in Education and Training, Counselling and Art Therapy.
I am first and foremost a Singer-Songwriter, Artist and Advocate—not a registered clinician, therapist, or medical professional.
My prayer is that my music, lived experiences, personal knowledge and real life stories inspire you, educate and better equip you to navigate your own life experiences of these subjects, offers you comfort, hope, healing, breaks isolation, validates your own lived experiences and points you closer to Jesus, the ultimate Restorer.
If you are currently navigating a difficult season, experiencing abuse or violence of any kind, or recovering from trauma, please know that your safety and well-being matter immensely. You do not have to carry this alone. I recommend that you please seek out and explore these highly respected professional organisations and helplines that I have personally used in the past, and listed here for you below, for deeper support, material, and guidance. I also suggest researching others that may also help you that I have not mentioned here (including counselling, sexual assault services,  your local GP or Police).

Faith communities can offer valuable friendship, spiritual encouragement and practical support. However, unfortunately not all churches or church leaders have specialist knowledge or safeguarding training in domestic abuse, coercive control or trauma. Please prioritise specialist professional support when needed and choose any additional faith-based support carefully, ensuring your safety, dignity and well-being remain paramount.
